On The Road.

I am, once again, thrilled to be attending WPPI with Cypress Albums. They have a brand new website, and I am beside myself to have done the photography for it. There is nothing quite so lovely as a Cypress Album. They make me think of fireplaces and cocoa and a beautiful blanket wrapped around you. The very idea of having your wedding sit in one of these amazing pieces of art is almost too much to take, and I am so proud to be a part of this amazing company. So many people will touch your wedding - people that you see, and people that you never know existed. I have to take this opportunity to introduce you to a few of the people on our end that make my job (and yours!) so special. I could truly not do this work without them.

My wonderful life's blood - Richard Photo Lab. The artistry of this lab is undeniable. There is nothing like a beautifully crafted image, and the careful scanning and prepping of my film, the amazing attention to detail, the gorgeous prints, and the ongoing, incredibly intimate relationship that we have built has meant so much to my work - I would not be at this place in my career without them. They have helped me make my work look like mine and no one else's. I owe them so much...

And lastly, the great Hahnemühle. I am so in love with their paper, I just can't deny it. When I found this paper, I went and bought myself a huge giclée printer, just so that I could utilize it every day. What your work is printed on is as much a reflection of your photography as the shooting of the image, and this is my true match. I can't believe how my work looks on this paper, and I'm dying that they will have a book of my work, bound by Cypress, at their booth at WPPI this year.
